Meet Bryce, Mayra, Sebastiaan, and Adelyn Raymond!

With young children just about to start school, they wanted to move into a neighborhood near desirable schools. They also had outgrown their house. Here is what Bryce wrote about him and his family: 

"We are both 38 I grew up in Maine, she grew up in NY and PR and we met at University of Hartford. She works in Windsor performing accounting services for hedge funds and I work in Farmington assisting small businesses with their 401(k) plans. Our spare time is spent with the kids as they are growing up way too fast. Unfortunately, with careers, there is not much spare time. We enjoy traveling, good food and movies. I am pretty much at the office every day as this is my other passion too. BUT now with a larger house, I am looking forward to having a room back where I can have an office."

They bought the home in 2008 and renovated it. Some of their favorite memories in the home were spending time in the backyard playing with the kids and barbeques with friends and family.

While they were looking for a new home to buy with our team, they were outbid twice because the market was so competitive in their price range. Our team found them a home that wasn’t even on the market! The sellers accepted their offer and they never had to worry about another bid coming in.

Ironically around the same time we were selling our house in CT, we had a rental property in New York we were selling. We started this selling process about a month after we started the selling process in CT. The experience could not have been more different and painful. The realtor made promises about timing, price and commissions she did not keep. The attorney she recommended was incompetent and rude. Unfortunately, this all came to light with about 2 weeks to close, so it was too late to back out of the deal.
